About the Grants

Each year, the Sho Funai Educational Foundation will award gifts and/or grants to four-year accredited academic institutions, departments and/or its affiliates of its choice. These gifts and grants will be flexible in allowing recipients the discretion to use them as necessary to forward their academic missions and goals. For example, funds may be used towards supplementing a university or department’s graduate student fellowship support.
